Kaden and Grace, where to begin!!
Lake Michigan was a perfect spot for their fun and romantic engagement session. Dressed in neutrals and denim (a combination I highly recommend), it was a perfect late summer evening in Grand Haven Michigan. I love this beach because it also offers rolling dunes and tall grass, you get such a variety for your backdrop. I loved photographing their connection, their laughs and smiles, the way they looked into each other's eyes, the whole time kept giving me The Notebook vibes. Having one casual and one "formal" outfit can be another easy way to add some variety, props like toasting with champagne or sharing a charcuterie board together to name some quick and simple ideas.
The look on their faces' was priceless when I told them to play tag, but the laughs and genuine smiles that come from these ideas and prompts I give are GENUINE and so full of emotion. They went along with my ideas and had a few of their own that were so much fun I love collaborating and brainstorming ideas!
