Your Favorite Rustic Garden Wedding Venue South of Grand Rapids Michigan!
Firstly, the venue. It's stunningly beautiful - the grounds, the landscaping and gardens, the barn itself, the outdoor chapel, the upper and lower levels of the barn...there was so much!! So many locations for portraits and creativity, so much space for the guests to mingle, play lawn games, etc. You can tell the owners Danielle and Bryan put their heart and soul into this place, and they did a phenomenal job. The dance floor is MASSIVE. Getting ready in the bridal suite was so much fun, there was a ton of space and plenty of room to get ready. You want a location with great pictures? There is NO shortage of that at this venue. Every corner of the inside and outside of this barn is incredible for pictures, for you AND your guests. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. BOOK. THIS. VENUE.
I absolutely LOVED the getting ready space that they offered, and all the outdoor locations for pictures! I could spend hours here, just doing portraits. You definitely get quite the variety! My jaw dropped when I saw the ceremony site, their vision came to life and it was breathtaking! I always am in LOVE with all the florals created by Linda Blackmore! Linda is absolutely amazing to work with and has such incredible creative talent that is recognizable as a wedding vendor. Hair and Make up done by the magnificent by Olena Bielova. I've worked with her at a few weddings and she always nails the glam look! Chatting with her is so fun and the time flies by when she's at work. Invites were made by Truly Engaging and went perfectly with the vision of their day!
OKAY DO THE FIRST LOOKS! Doesn't need to be with just/only your spouse, but having that special moment with a parent/loved one is SO PRECIOUS!!!
And then it came time for their beautiful sunset session! Their bridal portraits were STUNNING! I truly wish I could have a sunset like this for every wedding. Barn 1888 definitely has the prettiest view. Again there's just SO MANY beautiful locations for portraits here! This rustic barn has just the right amount of elegance, modernization and history here. I'm such a sucker for exposed wood beams and all the natural light.
